Inspired by The Resort at Pedregal’s reputation as one of Mexico’s top five tourist destination hotels, my husband and I travelled to Cabo San Lucas with much anticipation. We were in need of an indulgent yet relaxing escape and Pedregal did not disappoint.
Pedregal is renowned globally as an ultimate luxury destination, popular with high-end travellers for its privacy and seclusion, breathtaking views, attentive service, and its beaches and marine life. The Resort continues to garner some of the world’s most prestigious travel awards.

The arrival to Pedregal alone takes your breath away. Entering via Mexico’s only privately-owned tunnel, you are immediately transported to a place where desert meets the beach in the most dramatic way. The service is impeccable. Upon arrival we were greeted by the warm, friendly resort staff and offered the famous Margarita while preparations were made to take us to our private beachfront suite.
The property’s architecture and design is authentic Mexican style but contemporary, and you can see the thought that has gone into every detail. Every aspect of the resort is designed to allow you to relax, indulge and enjoy your privacy. We stayed in an Ocean View Deluxe Terrace on the second floor with our own private terrace and plunge pool, and we were marvelled by the sweeping 180-degree views of the ocean and Pedregal Mountain.

The dining experience was outstanding; we dined in views unmatched by some of the world’s best hotels. The most memorable dining experiences included our private six-course dinner on the beach, as well as dinner at El Farallon, tucked into the cliffs of Pedregal where we enjoyed quality ocean-to-table dining in a relaxing environment.
While Pedregal offers a secluded luxury escape, not far away you can explore and enjoy all that Baja California has to offer. It has something for everyone and you can make the experience your own, but Pedregal is truly designed to be an indulgent, private escape for individuals and couples looking for the ultimate holiday experience in Cabo San Lucas.
